The Well is a youth group meeting room at the First Christian Church in Decatur, IL. This project is currently under construction. The design includes all of the finish and furniture selections, wall and bench construction, and reception desk construction. The idea for this project is to create a lively space for today’s youth to spend quality time in. There is a stage for both gathering and concerts. The reception desks functions as a greeting space and a space to buy and sell items sold by the church. The ceiling is lowered through a lighting/screening device that creates a more intimate atmosphere and allows more quality lighting and built in projection screens.
